4th Annual Stingaree Tennessee Jamboree
"Greetings All MHS Stingarees & Friends”
We would like to invite you, your family and friends to the 4th Annual MHS Stingaree Tennessee Jamboree in Chattanooga taking place on July 11-12, 2018.
This a great time to visit with your family and friends; be sure to invite them to join in the fun! If you have not reserved the particular events you wish to attend, or made your hotel reservations, please do so as soon as possible, then register on-line for the Jamboree itself so you will be included in our headcount.
Our Jamboree Itinerary
· Wednesday Morning, July 11th: We start the Jamboree on the Tennessee Valley Rail Road’s Missionary Ridge Local Excursion trip beginning at the Grand Junction Station in Chattanooga and taking passengers along one of the original rail road lines in Chattanooga, crossing four bridges and passing through pre-Civil War Missionary Ridge Tunnel which was completed 1858.
Note: Tennessee Valley Rail Road has given us a chance to book our trip immediately. If you are attending contact them as soon as possible be sure to mention that you are with the Miami group, so you can receive our discounted price and we can be seated together.
· Wednesday Afternoon, July 11th: Join us for a Two Hour Cruise on the scenic Tennessee River aboard the Chattanooga River Boat Southern Belle making your way to the Chickamauga Dam You will enjoy our one-time- through buffet style lunch featuring Rare Prime Rib, Lemon Chicken, Baby Red Potatoes, Vegetable Medley, Salad, Dinner Rolls, Cheese Cake, Sweet Tea, Coffee and Water.
Note: This is a Different Direction on the River and a New Menu arranged for the Miami group to experience.
· Thursday Morning, July 12th: We conclude our Jamboree adventure at the Button Willow Civil War Dinner Theater. The owner, Steve Gipson, has invited us to enjoy an authentic Confederate Whitehouse meal and Civil War theater production.
This is the busy season in Chattanooga, If you plan on attending, we recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible.
