"The Miami High School Alumni Association's mission is to promote the preservation of Miami High School, to organize its alumni into a group to support the school, to offer scholarships to needy students, and to raise funds for the preservation of the school.
We are a Florida not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Current Association Officers are Cory Llopiz Cibran '71 (President), Rene Hernandez '69 (Vice President) ,Richard de Aguero '61 (Treasurer), Maria E. Dieguez-Prieto '72 (Secretary), and Marysol Rivero '89' (School Representative)."

"We are proud recipients of a public school education. We are, one and all, graduates of Miami Senior High School whom have found success in business as in life. We are committed to giving back to the very institution that gave so much to each and every one of us by instilling in us the values of perseverance, hard-work, and brotherhood, along with a solid educational base. Together we will serve as role models to future Miami High and other public school graduates to demonstrate that they will achieve success not in spite of their background and public school education, but because of it.
We aim to be a resource to the student body of MHS and their feeder schools by providing scholarship funds, recognition and awards, school supplies, volunteering at career day events and serving the public school system that caters to Little Havana and bordering neighborhoods in other needed ways. Doing this we believe reinforces our strongly held belief that public school education is a source of pride and not an impediment to success."
